The GSmart Method
As a pioneer of The Ericsson Method of sperm separation for gender selection, I’ve been perfecting this non-invasive, natural procedure for the past 30 years and have developed the GSmart Method.
My GSMART METHOD is an effective and non-invasive procedure. I combine sperm with human serum albumin (HSA). I separate the sperm cells based on which sex chromosome they carry either the male (Y) or female (X) chromosome.
The GSMART METHOD consists of four procedures:
1. Ovulation Monitoring. I monitor ovulation with the patient who tests her urine daily using Clearblue Fertility Monitor 1. This will allow me to choose the optimum day to perform the Gender Selection procedure.
2. Sperm separation. According to The Ericsson Method, I separate the sperm cells using an albumen gradient, based on whether the cell carries the male (Y) or female (X) chromosome.
3. TEAS (Transcutaneous Electrical Acupoint Stimulation) Scientific studies performed in China show that TEAS improves pregnancy rates in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART). I place electrodes at carefully selected accupoint locations to stimulate nerves that increase blood flow to the reproductive organs.
4. IUI (Intrauterine Insemination). Only the sperm of the chosen gender are introduced into the mother’s uterus by an intrauterine catheter.
I have shown success rates of 73% for parents looking to conceive a boy and up to 75% for parents wanting a girl. The GSMART METHOD has been the choice for hundreds of couples in my practice. Some of the couples that chose GSMART are my most vocal supporters. Read their testimonials
